Selling t-shirts online has been the only way I’ve earned money without punching a timecard, so I’ve gone all in.
Black Tee Affair combines three things I love: black t-shirts, retro gaming, and comic books. The Battlefield is a free retro-style browser game connected to the Etsy shop. Every new design I publish becomes a soldier in the game, joining my fight against poverty.
The six villains represent real-life obstacles: Bill, Landlord, Mr. Fee, Loan Shark, Debt Collector, and The IRS. As the shop grows, the battalion grows, giving players more soldiers to take into battle.
