Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) can lead to a range of symptoms that may significantly impact an individual's daily life. Some common symptoms of CPTSD include:

  1. Intense flashbacks or intrusive memories of past traumatic events
  2. Severe anxiety and panic attacks
  3. Difficulty regulating emotions, leading to frequent mood swings
  4. Persistent feelings of shame, guilt, or worthlessness
  5. Avoidance of people, places, or activities that remind the individual of the traumatic experiences
  6. Difficulty maintaining close or intimate relationships
  7. Hypervigilance and a heightened startle response
  8. Dissociation or feeling disconnected from oneself or the surrounding environment
  9. Chronic feelings of emptiness and hopelessness
  10. Self-destructive behaviors or thoughts
