Bjorn, my 1-year-old emotional support dog, was taken by Miami-Dade Animal Services after a routine traffic stop. He’s now locked in an off-site “bite watch” facility—confused, alone, and separated from me, the only person he has in this world.

I’m just 20 years old and left home up north to build a new life here. I work hard every day as a handyman, but now my best friend—and only family in Miami—is gone. I haven’t even been allowed to visit Bjorn.
