My name is Einar. I’m an actor and filmmaker from a small fishing village in Estonia. I spent part of my childhood in Sweden after my parents escaped the Soviet Union and relocated there.

I fell in love with filmmaking at 10, making horror parodies with my stepfather’s video camera. Inspired by Tom Green, I started uploading pranks and street interviews to his website—some were even featured on his live show. When YouTube launched in 2005, I became Estonia’s first YouTuber.

A decade later, I wrote and directed a post-apocalyptic sci-fi short, The Most Beautiful Day. Soon after, I flew to LA with $100 in my pocket to pursue acting.

I landed indie film roles, moved to London, appeared in a BBC series with Ron Perlman, and later starred opposite Idris Elba, Andy Serkis, and Cynthia Erivo in Netflix’s Luther: The Fallen Sun
