For the past year or so, I’ve been leveling up under the guidance of my veteran gamer husband, who’s been “educating” me in the sacred art of gaming (and occasionally laughing at my boss fights). I’m not just here to win. I’m here to win with style. 💅
I like to experience games the way they’re meant to be: sinking into the story, vibing with the soundtrack, and actually learning the mechanics instead of mashing buttons (most of the time). Sure, I might rage when I struggle (Vergil 2 in DMC3, I’m still looking at you 😤) but I always finish what I start. And weirdly enough, I usually love the game even more for it.
