A random Puerto Rican dude. I sometimes make loud and soft music, add drums to songs and play a wooden mallet instrument. Not sure if I'm going to stream here but who knows lol

My soft music project.
Inspired by the soft music of video games, such as Super Mario Bros. (franchise), Super Mario Galaxy, Banjo Kazooie, Undertale, Deltarune, The Legend of Zelda, Dustforce, Minecraft, among others, and the soft sound of lofi music, Space Keys intends to replicate that sound resulting a chill, relaxing “space-like” soft sound, recreating popular songs, pieces (classical, etc.), video game music, soundtracks, etc. to soft versions for all to enjoy.

I started drum remixing somewhere in November of 2020, after hearing (and learning) drum remixes from the community of BirdmanExe (Twitch streamer who plays rhythm games like Rock Band 3, grinding and FC'ing custom chart songs including drum remixes). This called my attention and started learning from the greatest trinity drum remixers of Birdman's community: SoundHaven, LethalLasagna and Xane60 (they're still active remixing on this day) and later started doing my own with just 1 drum plugin (VST). Time passes as I learn more about other drum plugins and now I own 10. I'm very fortunate to have learn and met these guys and I'm happy to share it with y'all in here. Enjoy! 🙂

I have experience modding on Twitch since 2021, but not much on Kick. I try to use my modding knowledge from Twitch and try to apply it on Kick. With that being said, if you need a mod for anything (even for a brief moment), you can add me as well. If you feel that I'm not doing the adequate job, you may unmod me no questions asked 🙂

Héctor R. Rodríguez Ithier is a classically trained percussionist, composer, arranger, Marimbist, clinician, drummer and drum remixer. His passion for music was noticeable since his early years by drumming to any surface and/or objects. Driven with passion, he took private drum lessons and later learned by his own. His drumming drastically changed after learning the natural way of playing by the legendary virtuoso drummer Dave Weckl. Héctor began his percussion studies at the Escuela Libre de Música Antonio Paoli in Caguas, under the tutelage of professors José “Pepe” Torres and Juan Carlos Bruno, while studying in the Home Education program. At the age of 12, he was accepted into the first Symphonic Experience, an annual musical event to play with the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra (OSPR) in which he participated for 3 consecutive years until 2014.
For two years he served as percussionist for the Puerto Rican Youth Symphony Orchestra (OSJP) of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico (CMPR) music program 100 x 35 (Cien por Treinta y Cinco in spanish), under the direction of Venezuelan violinist Eddy Marcano. Similarly, he served as a timpanist and percussionist for the Puerto Rico Youth Symphony Orchestra (OSJPR), of the Música y País Foundation, together with Prof. Carlos Ávila (2012-2015), director. During his time with the OSJPR, he had the privilege of participating in the concert with the Puerto Rican singer Glenn Monroig.

For 2 consecutive years (2019-2020), he was invited as timpanist to the International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico (ICOPR), founded and directed by the Puerto Rican cellist Emilio Colón. During the year 2019, he was also invited as percussionist to premiere selections of the opera Eva Luna by italian composer Alberto Guidobaldi while studying at the CMPR. In 2021 he finally completed his Bachelor's Degree in Music in Classical Percussion Performance under the tutelage of Prof. José Alicea Espada. During his studies, he ventured into composition debuting his work for percussion ensemble "Colors" (2018) at the 22nd International Percussion Festival, with Prof. José Alicea as artistic director. He also premiered his six snare drum piece “Homage to Steve Reich” at his graduation recital in May 2019.
(Continued in part 3)
In 2022, Héctor was invited to give Marimba masterclasses in his university alma mater (CMPR) and at the Escuela Libre de Música Ernesto Ramos Antonini in San Juan.
On November 4 of 2023, he was invited to play as Timpanist for the Orquesta Filarmónica de Puerto Rico Arturo Somohano (Arturo Somohano Philharmonic Orchestra of Puerto Rico; OFPR for short in spanish) on the final day of the Disney 100 (years) in Concert world tour with Thiago Tiberio conducting.
On 2025, Héctor has been invited to play with the International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico again as percussionist, after 5 years since he last played with them (2020).
(Continued in part 4)
Recently, he's been invited to premiere a reduced version of the Puerto Rican musical cantata "Burundanga" of the Ukrainian/Puerto Rican composer Jack Delano, performing it with Orfeón San Juan Bautista.
Héctor is currently studying composition (B.M.) under the tutelage of Puerto Rican composer Alfonso Fuentes Colón.
