Niko startet DJing in 2004, mainly to compile his favourite styles of electronic music for himself and his friends. He provided his mixes on a monthly basis and quickly gained positive feedback from everyone to whom they fell into the hands. Thus these mixes became his brand – since 2015 labeled as MUSIC IN GOOD HUMOR - for distributing his collections of favourite tracks to the whole world every month.

Additionaly you can find diverse sets from club- and hotel-gigs in Hamburg on Niko's Mixcloud channel.

MUSIC IN GOOD HUMOR provides a Facebook Page, the main monthly Podcast and a radioshow on GlobalBeats.fm, which is broadcasted every first Wednesday of a month at 8 p.m. CET and published as podcast after the radio broadcast. In this 60 mins show Niko's mixes alternate between Peaktime, Relax and Special Editions. Like this he brings you into a different humor each month.

The main podcast is released mid-monthly with 2 hours full of new releases and current favourites. In means of styles it can contain anything from Downtempo and Deep to Acid, Techno, Breakbeat, Trance or even Drum'n'Bass. No matter what style: most important is quality.

“What I like is sophisticated quality music that doesn’t want to fit in any stereotyped style or category. The only demand I have to music is that the producers put their hearts into it and make music that they love and not what others (e.g. major labels or tv producers) want them to make.”
